Registration (deposit payment)

  • Cost according to the quote: 30% deposit required to confirm the booking after acceptance of the quote.

Balance payment

  • The balance must be paid 45 days before your arrival in Ecuador.

  • Once your payment is confirmed, we will send you the confirmation of your booking by email.

Supplements

Some services require a minimum number of participants.
If you are traveling alone or in a group smaller than the required minimum, a fairly calculated supplement will be proposed in order to avoid cancellation of the service.

Cancellation

If you decide to cancel your trip after registration
We calculate cancellation fees according to the date on which we are informed.

1 – CIRCUITS, TOURS & LAND SERVICES:

  • More than 45 days before the service: refund of the deposit or payment made (minus bank and administrative fees).

  • From 44 to 16 days before the service: 20% penalty of the total tour amount.

  • 15 days (or less) before the service: no refund guaranteed, but possible depending on the circumstances.

2 – GALAPAGOS CRUISES & COMBINED PROGRAMS:

  • From 120 to 95 days before departure date: 15% penalty.

  • From 94 to 75 days before departure date: 30% penalty.

  • From 74 to 45 days before departure date: 60% penalty.

  • From 44 days or less before the stay: 100% penalty.

If you decide to cancel your trip during the tour:
If a participant decides to interrupt the trip for any reason, no refund will be possible.

Insurance

You can purchase personal travel insurance in Ecuador.
Therefore, if you are interested, please let us know before your arrival, and we will register you for this plan.
It costs approximately USD 4 per person per day, and covers:

  • Theft or loss of luggage,

  • Accident,

  • Illness,

  • Assistance,

  • Repatriation.

Liability and advice

We are not responsible for the behavior of participants in relation to the laws and regulations of the country.
Ecuador has very strict legislation regarding certain offenses (drug possession, theft, etc.).

In addition, please make sure that:

  • Your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your planned return date to your country of residence.

  • You have obtained a visa, if required.

Mandatory vaccinations:

  • Yellow fever

  • Typhoid

Recommended vaccinations:

  • Tetanus

  • Hepatitis A

Consult your doctor about:

  • Malaria prevention treatment,

  • Issues related to altitude sickness.
