Important information:

The Galapagos National Park assigns the itineraries and visiting days for each vessel. By being flexible with your travel dates, you will have access to a wider selection of cruises.

The cruise consists of 3 activities, carried out in specific locations strictly defined by the Galapagos National Park: land hiking, which is the main activity; snorkeling; and zodiac excursions or “panga rides.”

Due to National Park regulations, round-trip flights to and from the Galapagos are scheduled only in the morning. You should consider that during a cruise, you effectively lose a little more than one day due to airport formalities, flight duration, and the time difference.

Some instructions to follow

You don’t go to the Galápagos to sunbathe and relax, but to enjoy nature and learn from it. In just a few days, you will witness scenes of wildlife that are normally reserved for researchers who have spent many years observing animals — and all of it just a few steps away!
Take advantage of this trip to share unique sensations, but don’t forget to respect certain rules. None of them is arbitrary. The islands now exist in a fragile balance and need all our attention and protection.

The visit to these islands is strictly regulated to avoid, as much as possible, the impact of tourism. Be aware that you cannot remain in an area belonging to the national park without a guide, nor transport food or smoke. On the last point, don’t worry — even compulsive smokers say they forget cigarettes when they see the animals!

On the islands, you may only walk on marked trails, but there is already so much to see — such as birds nesting right on the path, for example. Other basic rules apply: do not touch the animals, do not litter, do not take sand or plants.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The boat’s tour operator reserves the right to modify the itinerary without prior notice due to weather conditions, Galápagos National Park regulations, or exceptional events. To avoid any connection issues, we recommend planning a buffer day between your international flight and your flight to the Galápagos, both on the outbound and return journeys.

The Galápagos National Park establishes the itineraries and scheduled visiting days for every vessel. By remaining flexible with your travel dates, you will have access to a larger selection of cruises.

Due to National Park regulations, round-trip flights to the Galápagos are scheduled only in the morning. You should consider that during a cruise you effectively lose a little more than one day due to airport procedures, flight duration, and the time difference.

It is important to take into account that each boat organizes its logistics with a specific airline. The airlines involved are AVIANCA or LATAM. Boats generally require passengers to purchase the round-trip Galápagos tickets through them in order to avoid logistical complications. Flight prices vary depending on the agreements between the vessels and the airlines. If clients choose to purchase their own round-trip tickets to the Galápagos, be aware that some boats will refuse to sell the cruise, some will apply a penalty—varying by vessel—and will disclaim responsibility in case of delays, while only a few boats allow full freedom to purchase your own tickets.

As operators have priority access to airline seats, we will take care of booking and purchasing the Galápagos plane tickets to avoid any logistical issues. You will simply need to inform us of your desired flight route.
