Below is the description of the proposed itinerary, noting that it may be subject to changes depending on conditions.

Meals:

Whenever possible, meals are left at your own expense.
Ecuador is not France in terms of gastronomy, but it still satisfies every traveler’s desire for discovery. It is a country with a wide variety of menus, from gourmet restaurants to small stalls in markets or villages.
Meals mentioned in the program are included in the package, while those not included are left to your own choice. Your guide and travel companion will recommend interesting places or restaurants and can also accompany you in your discoveries if you wish.

Itinerary :

Day 1: PICHINCHA – QUITO – HIKING
Breakfast. Departure to the active Pichincha volcano. Acclimatization hike followed by ascent to the summit (4–5 hours – 4,790 m altitude). Magnificent view of the crater. Picnic. Return to Quito in the late afternoon. Hotel in Quito.

Day 2: HIKING IN PAPALLACTA
Breakfast. Departure to the Papallacta pass at 4,200 m altitude. Acclimatization hike around the lakes in the area. Picnic. Dinner and overnight in Papallacta.

Day 3: TREKKING IN ANTISANA – HIKING
Breakfast. Preparation of pack horses and departure to the base of Antisana (8 hours of hiking). Picnic. Dinner and overnight camping at the foot of Antisana.

Day 4: ANTISANA – LASSO – CYCLING
Breakfast. Breaking camp and departure by mountain bike towards Quito, crossing the páramo of the central cordillera. Picnic. Transfer by vehicle to Lasso. Dinner and overnight in a lodge in Lasso.

Day 5: ASCENT OF RUMIÑAHUI – TIGUA – HIKING
Breakfast. Departure by private vehicle to Cotopaxi National Park. Ascent to the “La Central” summit of Mount Rumiñahui (4,640 m altitude and 6 hours of hiking). Picnic. Return to Lasso and departure to Tigua. Dinner and overnight in a lodge in Tigua.

Day 6: TIGUA – ZUMBAHUA MARKET – QUILOTOA – CYCLING
Breakfast. Departure by mountain bike to Zumbahua. Visit of the village and continuation to Quilotoa. Installation in the community. Walk down into the crater of the volcano. Picnic. Dinner and overnight in a cabin in the Quilotoa community.

Day 7: HIKING FROM QUILOTOA TO CHUGCHILÁN
Breakfast. Hike from Quilotoa to Chugchilán (5 hours). Picnic during the day. Dinner and overnight in a lodge in Chugchilán.

Day 8: HIKING IN CHUGCHILÁN – BAÑOS
Breakfast. Horseback ride of approximately 4 hours towards the cloud forest above the village. Picnic. Departure to Baños de Agua Santa by private vehicle. Hotel in Baños.

Day 9: BAÑOS – RELAXATION
Breakfast. Free day in Baños. Hotel in Baños.

Day 10: BAÑOS – PUYO – TENA (CYCLING)
Breakfast and departure to Puyo by mountain bike (80 km and 1,000 m descent). Picnic. Departure to Tena by local bus. Hotel in Tena.

Day 11: RAFTING ON THE JATUNYACU
Breakfast. Rafting day on the Jatunyacu River (25 km, 3 hours descent). Picnic by the river. Return to Tena in the evening. Hotel in Tena.

Day 12: RETURN TO QUITO
Breakfast. Return to Quito. Hotel in Quito. End of the program.
