Important information:

The Galapagos National Park assigns the itineraries and visiting days for each vessel. By being flexible with your travel dates, you will have access to a wider selection of cruises.

The cruise consists of 3 activities, carried out in specific locations strictly defined by the Galapagos National Park: land hiking, which is the main activity; snorkeling; and zodiac excursions or “panga rides.”

Due to National Park regulations, round-trip flights to and from the Galapagos are scheduled only in the morning. You should consider that during a cruise, you effectively lose a little more than one day due to airport formalities, flight duration, and the time difference.

Remote, solitary. Unique.

Some guidelines to follow

You don’t go to the Galápagos to sunbathe and relax, but to enjoy nature and learn from it. In just a few days, you will witness scenes of wildlife usually reserved for researchers who have spent many years observing animals — and all of it just steps away!

Enjoy this trip and its unique sensations, but do not forget to follow the basic rules imposed by the Galápagos National Park in order to protect the ecosystems. None of these rules are arbitrary. The islands live in a fragile balance and need all our attention and protection.

Visits to these islands are highly regulated to minimize the impact of tourism. Be aware that in the park sites you must always be accompanied by your Galápagos National Park guide, and it is forbidden to carry food or to smoke. On this last point, don’t worry: even heavy smokers say they forget cigarettes when watching the animals!

You may walk only on marked trails, but there is already so much to see, such as birds nesting right on the path. Other basic rules include: do not touch animals, respect a distance of two meters so as not to disturb them, do not litter, and do not collect anything — not sand, stones, or plants.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

The boat’s tour operator reserves the right to modify the itinerary without prior notice due to weather conditions, Galápagos National Park regulations, or exceptional events. To avoid any connection issues, we recommend planning a buffer day between your international flight and your flight to the Galápagos, both on arrival and return.

The Galápagos National Park assigns itineraries and visiting days to each vessel. By being flexible with your travel dates, you will have access to a greater number of cruises.

By Park regulation, flights to and from the Galápagos are scheduled only in the morning. You should consider that during a cruise you effectively lose a little more than a day due to airport procedures, flight duration, and time differences.

Each vessel organizes its logistics with a specific airline. The airlines used are AVIANCA or LATAM. Boats generally require the purchase of round-trip Galápagos tickets in order not to complicate logistics. Flight prices vary according to agreements between the vessels and the airlines.

If clients purchase their own Galápagos tickets, be aware that some boats refuse to sell the cruise, others impose a penalty (varying by vessel) and waive all responsibility in case of delays, and a few allow free ticket purchase.

Since operators have priority over flight space, we will take care of booking and purchasing the plane tickets to the Galápagos to avoid any logistical problems. You simply need to tell us your preferred flight route.
