Far away, alone. Unique

Some instructions to be followed

One does not go to the Galapagos to sunbathe and relax, but to enjoy nature and learn from it. In a few days you will see scenes of wildlife that are normally reserved for researchers who have spent many years observing animals. And all this, a few steps away!
Take advantage of this trip to share unique sensations, but do not forget to respect some basic rules and regulations imposed by the Galápagos National Park in order to preserve the ecosystems. None of them are the result of a whim. The islands now live a precarious balance and need our full attention, and protection.

The visit of these islands is highly regulated to avoid as much as possible the impact of tourism. Be aware that you should always be accompanied by your guide to Galapagos National Park at the park’s sites, as it is forbidden to transport food or smoke. On this last point we must not worry too much, the compulsive smokers say that they forgot the cigarette in front of the animal show!

On the islands you can only walk on the marked trails, but there are already so many things to see like birds nesting on the way for example… There are other basic rules: do not touch animals, and respect a distance of two meters so as not to disturb them, do not throw garbage, do not collect anything on site, nor sand, stone or plants.

IMPORTANT

The tour operator of the boat reserves the right to modify the itinerary without prior notice due to the climatic conditions, regulation of the Galapagos National Park or exceptional event. To avoid any problems of correspondence, we advise you to provide a free day between your international flight and a flight to the Galapagos, before and after cruising.

The Galapagos National Park imposes routes and days of departure of each boat. By being flexible in your stay, you will have the choice between a greater number of cruises.

By regulation of the National Park, the return flights to the Galapagos are scheduled only in the morning. It must be considered that over the duration of a cruise, you actually lose a little more than a day between the airport formalities, the duration of the flights and the time difference.

It is necessary to take into consideration that each ship organizes its logistics with a precise airline. The different airlines are AVIANCA or TAME, (rarely with LATAM which usually arrives too late in the morning). Boats usually require the purchase of round trip tickets to the Galapagos so as not to complicate the logistics. The fares for flights vary according to the agreements between the boats and the airlines. In case of purchase by the customer of the flights tickets to Galapagos, you have to know that some boats, refuse the sale of the cruise. Some apply a penalty that varies according to the boat by releasing themselves from any liability in case of delay and finally few boats leave free the purchase of tickets.

As operators have priority over air tickets, we will be responsible for booking and purchasing airline tickets for the Galapagos in order to avoid any logistical problems. You’ll just have to be clear on the desired route.
